Ervin and his wife, Melva, are the founders and senior pastors of World Outreach & Bible Training Center. Since it began in 2006, World Outreach & Bible Training Center has grown to more than 600 active members and is known for its life-giving culture and focus on leading people into an intimate relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ.

Ervin has a deep passion for winning, mending, developing disciples, and sending them into harvest fields around the world. He co-founded WBTI (World Bible Training Institute), formerly known as Ministerial Excellence, a ministry training school that trains and launches students into full-time ministry careers. In 2007 he and Melva launched the Milwaukee Give, a humanitarian effort which annually provides food and clothing to many of the impoverished areas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ervin is a frequent guest minister and host of Praise the Lord on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and local and global satellite and Internet radio stations. He has been a featured guest on Christian television shows including The Believer’s Voice of Victory Broadcast with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and Atlanta Live, just to name a few.

He and his wife, Melva, have four children and two grandchildren and live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where World Outreach & Bible Training Center began. Ervin Henderson is a 1994 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center.
